The Bucket Drumming Experience Summer Camp

Come enjoy this enjoyable two week camp and assist our organization in expanding and providing additional services to our community. Bucket drumming is a unique and enjoyable technique to learn to play percussion. Learn your rhythm and practice your motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Bucket drumming can be utilized as a social activity to improve ensemble talents or as a solo exercise for those who wish to be drummers but cannot afford to purchase drum equipment. It is useful for preparing, practicing, and demonstrating percussion techniques. This class is for youth and adults who wish to learn how to play percussion and make music with others.

Time: 11am - 2:00pm

Location: Musical Expressions Experience studio located on the third floor of the Jackson Medical Mall. 350 W Woodrow Wilson Ave. STE 3330, Jackson,MS 39213

Ages: 6-15+ years

Additional Information

  • No previous musical experience is necessary.

  • Camp is also dedicated to students with disabilities

  • Each participant will be provided a five-gallon bucket and drum sticks for session
